Today we have Xiaomi’s record as news. The company has just confirmed a charge that, if it reaches the market, will be the world’s most powerful and fastest charge. The record is currently held by iQOO, a Chinese brand that offers 200W fast charging. Now Xiaomi wants to top it with 210W!

Xiaomi also has a 200W charge, but not in the real market: it has done several tests with the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. The charge we talked about fully charged from 0 to 100 in just 8 minutes.

Xiaomi aims to recharge the battery in less than 8 minutes.

Xiaomi has just confirmed a fast charge that reaches 210W power. Why these figures? It’s possible that the company has managed to break the 8-minute barrier, so it doesn’t need more to achieve another milestone.

The charger is certified, so it is expected to be officially launched in the market. Whether Xiaomi will add this load to the actual terminal or not is completely unknown. With this type of load it is possible to inject enough energy to last several hours in just a few minutes.

The 8 or 7 minutes we’re talking about are for recharging a 4,000 mAh cell, so these times can be affected if the cell size is larger. With this type of load it is best to include small batteries, as a few minutes will give you several hours.

Will it be Xiaomi 13’s fast charging?

Xiaomi has developed this new payload for release on future devices. The closest high-end terminal seems to be the Xiaomi 13 or Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which can achieve a record in charging speed.
