So far in 2022, POCO has launched several devices in the smartphone market including POCO F4 GT, POCO X4 Pro 5G, and POCO M4 5G. Although the 3 devices provide very solid pricing details, their launch prices are not cheap enough for those looking for an entry-level market.

Thus, after 6 months in 2022, we finally have the long-awaited date of POCO’s next entry-level device – POCO C40!

On the official POCO Global Twitter account, POCO has announced that the POCO C40 will be officially launched globally on June 16 through the company’s online launch event.

In the announcement, POCO revealed that the POCO C40 will feature a special design made by POCO itself. And one of the color options of POCO C40 will be POCO Yellow colorway signed on POCO.

However, on closer inspection, it seems that the design shown in the teaser is similar to the standard Redmi 10C launched earlier this year and also similar to the standard Redmi 10 launched in India. Hopefully, POCO’s exclusive redesign isn’t just a new color option for the device.

As far as other POCO C40 glasses are concerned, POCO is also showing teasers for smartphone glasses on its official social media accounts. The company claims that the POCO C40 will have a 6,000 mAh battery, the largest battery ever in a POCO smartphone, and will also have a 6.71-inch teardrop notch display, the largest ever on a POCO smartphone. Is greater than a Large display.

From the teasers, we can see that a capacitive fingerprint sensor will also be installed on the back of the POCO C40.
